No. Admin users are unlimited and free. Only active drivers are billed.

Your bill follows your active drivers. Add a driver and you are charged a pro-rated amount for the rest of the billing period; stand one down and you are credited the same way. There are no seat bundles to buy up front.

No contract and no setup fee. It is a rolling monthly or annual subscription you can cancel anytime, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

No. Drivers use their own Android phone or iPhone, and the office uses a web browser.

Most fleets are running the same day. Create your account, add your drivers, and they sign in to the app with your company code. Import routes by CSV or API when you are ready.

Arrival and departure times, one or more photos, and a signature where you need one. Everything is recorded against the stop and visible to the office in real time.

Yes. Each stop can hold your booking reference, client reference and collection reference, whether the route comes from a CSV, the API or is entered by the driver.

Yes. Load routes from a CSV, or push them from your TMS or back-office through our API.

No. Planned routes are optional. A driver can start from the yard with nothing in the system and add each stop from the paper manifest on the phone, with the same photos, signatures and times.

Two years by default, then they are deleted automatically. You can change the period for your company in Settings.

It is built for HGV and haulage work: drops at depots, sites and distribution centres, with trailer checks and booking references. It is not designed for high-volume parcel delivery.

Yes. Drivers complete a walk-around check in the app before they set off. A failed item reaches the office straight away, and every check is stored for your compliance records.

Yes. The driver checks the vehicle and then each trailer, including a trailer picked up part-way through the shift. Defects are logged per trailer.

No. The check has to be completed before the driver can depart on a shift.

Check oversight shows the time each driver spends on a check, how many are finished in under 90 seconds, and how often every item is marked at once.

Yes. Each daily check prints as a report listing every item, the time taken, the location and any defects, and the defect register prints as well.

Two years by default, which covers DVSA guidance to keep defect reports for at least 15 months. You can change the period for your company.

No. The checks are aligned with DVSA's published walk-around guidance for HGV drivers, but ShiftsPod is not approved or endorsed by DVSA.

No. ShiftsPod tracks through the driver's phone, so there is nothing to install on the vehicle and no engineer visit.

No. Tracking starts when the driver departs on a shift and stops when the shift is closed.

Yes. Every shift keeps a route trace with its stops and trailer swaps. You choose how long location history is kept.

Yes. Vehicle, trailer, driver and company documents sit in one register with their expiry dates, and the office is reminded before each one runs out.

No. It does not read engine data or tachograph data. It tells you where each driver is, whether the stops are on time, and holds the checks and proof of delivery for the shift.

Any modern Android phone or iPhone. There is a native Android app on Google Play and an installable web app for iPhone. Both work offline.

Yes. Stops, photos, checks and GPS are queued on the phone and upload automatically once signal returns.

No, and that is deliberate. HGV drivers route with their own truck sat-nav. ShiftsPod gives them the stop list, the references and what to do at each site, then captures the proof.

Yes. Any driver you add signs in to the same app with your company code, and you are billed only for drivers who are active.

Yes. Every company's data is fully isolated: drivers, routes and proof of delivery are scoped to your account only, on every request.

ShiftsPod is built for UK GDPR. We process driver data on your behalf as your processor under our Data Processing Agreement.

No. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The app stores only what it needs to keep you signed in.

You can export it at any time. After you cancel we keep it only as long as your retention settings allow, then it is deleted automatically.
